G. Miles Interiors has operated as a family business for over 20 years. The owners, husband and wife team Gerald and Judi Miles, wanted something different for their store. They wanted sales growth and a beautiful 
store to take advantage of the booming condominium and second home market in the Panama City Beach area of the Florida Panhandle. Instead, they found their business locked in a price war with other local retailers with flat sales and low margins.

The Success Plan included a store renovation and image development plan to distinguish their business from competitors. Scott put together a business plan, and the Miles secured a bank loan to fund the improvements.
